Job summary

Endeavor Health's Elmhurst Main Hospital is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse for the Observation Unit, 24 hours per week, nights 7pm-7am with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays. You will deliver safe and compassionate care, coordinating with physicians and the clinical team to ensure optimal outcomes.

The role requires an associate degree in nursing (or higher) and an active Illinois RN license, CPR, NIHSS certification, and knowledge of EKG interpretation.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in nursing with Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification through American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation and NIHSS stroke scale.
• ACLS preferred; inpatient nursing experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to diverse patient populations.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans with the team.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and staff for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain documentation and ensure continuity of care.
