Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Observation Unit in Elmhurst, IL. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with 7am–7pm shifts, every third weekend, and rotating holidays. You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required: ADN or higher in nursing, Illinois RN licensure, CPR, EKG interpretation, NIHSS certification. BSN within five years if ADN; ACLS preferred; inpatient experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; ADN holders must obtain BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR Certification (American Heart Association).
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation.
• NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing and evaluating the plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
