Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. This part-time role is 24 hours per week, with shifts from 7am to 7pm and every third weekend plus rotating holidays.

You will deliver safe, compassionate nursing care across patient populations, collaborating with the clinical team to implement and evaluate the plan of care. Candidates must hold an Illinois RN license, CPR certification, and NIHSS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN is highest degree, must obtain a BSN within five years of starting date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure.
• Current CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation; NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
