Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Elmhurst Main Hospital is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse for the Observation Unit. The role involves delivering safe nursing care, planning and evaluating the plan of care, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.

Required: nursing degree and state RN licensure, CPR, EKG interpretation, and NIHSS certification. Preferred: BSN, ACLS, and inpatient nursing experience. Includes premium pay and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge base of EKG interpretation.
• NIHSS Stroke Scale certification, required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
