Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit at Elmhurst Main Hospital. This part-time night shift (7pm–7am) requires 24 hours per week and rotating weekends/holidays.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with the medical team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care. Required: Illinois RN license, CPR, EKG interpretation knowledge, NIHSS certification; ADN with BSN within five years (or higher), BSN preferred, ACLS a plus,

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing.
• If ADN is highest degree, must graduate with BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current CPR Certification by American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of EKG interpretation.
• NIHSS Stroke Scale certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patients.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the clinical team to ensure outcomes.
