Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center is seeking a Part Time Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the Central department. You will work two 12-hour night shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays, and you will assist with bathing, feeding, ambulation, and daily activities.

Basic Life Support is required within 45 days, along with a GED/HSED or high school diploma and being in good standing with the state registry. You will document vitals in the EMR and assist RN across shifts.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing on the state registry.
• GED/HSED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to assist RN with daily patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care, including bathing, feeding, and ambulation.
• Record vital signs and input/output, daily weights, and other data in EMR.
• Perform patient transfers and positioning with proper technique.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge activities under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient environment and stocking supplies; operate equipment safely.
