Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant to support registered nurses in daily patient care, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility. This position involves documenting vitals and patient data in the EMR, and communicating observations to the RN promptly.

The role requires a GED/HSED or high school diploma and BLS certification within 45 days, plus Nurse Aide in good standing on the state registry. Rotating weekends/holidays and day shifts are included.

Qualifications

• GED or high school equivalency diploma required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing on state registry.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (hygiene, feeding, mobility).
• Measure and document vitals and intake/output.
• Document in EMR and communicate observations to RN.
• Support admission, transfer and discharge under RN supervision.
• Maintain patient belongings and stock nursing area.
