Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel is seeking a part-time Front Desk Clerk to join our hotel team in Minnesota. This role involves handling guest charges, vouchers, and nightly postings, with duties tied to the front desk and night audit processes.

Weekend availability is required, with shifts from 11:00pm to 7:00am. The position offers starting pay at $19.00/hour and includes perks such as discounted travel for you and family, half-price on-site dining, and meal provisions during shifts, plus standard

Qualifications

• Experience at the front desk preferred.
• Pep experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Post room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
• Process guest charges voucher and credit card vouchers.
• Post charges to guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
• Verify that all transactions are supported by documentary evidence and posted/allocated in the PMS system correctly.
• Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete.

Essential Functions:

• Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
• Processes guest charges voucher and credit card vouchers.
• Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
• Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
• Checks to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
• To verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated into PMS system.
• Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time position
• Must be available to work weekends
• Some Holidays are required
• Shift Times: 11:00pm - 7:00am
• Starting Wage is $19.00
