Pediatrix Medical Group in Issaquah, WA is seeking a Newborn Hearing Screen Technician to perform hospital-based hearing screens for newborns and to educate families on the importance of early intervention. This on-site role requires weekend availability and involves documentation of screenings and results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR Certification or must obtain upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform newborn hearing screens and educate parents on the importance of early intervention.
• Ensure PPE, vaccinations and compliance steps are followed on site.
• Assess screen readiness and only screen when conditions allow reliable results.
• Collect baby demographics, perform screens, and document outcomes per protocol.
• Notify supervisor of missed or referred babies and schedule outpatient follow-ups when needed.
• Complete data entry, upload results and ensure accurate state reporting each shift.
