Job summary

Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist for our Coral Springs, FL facility in a part-time role. You will help patients feel at ease, explain the procedures, and operate MRI equipment with precision and care. The position requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, state licensure as required, CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS.
• State License, as required.
• CPR certification.
• Active state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.
• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.
• Trains new technologist and/or PC's
