Job summary

The Michaels Companies seeks a Part-Time Merchandise Manager in Dayville, CT to lead merchandising execution and store operations. You will drive planograms, pricing accuracy, inventory routines, and visual standards to create a customer-ready environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating truck unloads, stock replenishment, Ship from Store, RTVs, and adherence to SOPs while coaching team members and supporting MOD coverage. Availability for nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience implementing SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOP adherence and policy compliance.
• Lead truck unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to sales floor.
• Plan workload and coordinate staffing with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines and replenishment checks.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory accuracy and bargain with pricing and promotions.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment, RTVs and ASN processing.
• Train and coach team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
