Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a Part-time Merchandise Manager at our Middletown, RI location. You will drive merchandising and store operations, ensuring pricing accuracy, on-time promotions, and a customer-ready environment through effective workload planning.

You will lead truck processing, planogram execution, and inventory routines, while coaching team members and upholding SOPs and company policies to deliver results in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Able to stand for long periods and move about the store.
• Strong merchandising, pricing, and promotional execution.
• Proven ability to manage inventory and drive in-stock levels.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in SOPs and company program adherence.
• Lead truck execution and merchandise flow to the floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization and planogram compliance.
• Oversee pricing changes, promotions, and ship-from-store fulfillment.
• Coach and develop team members and uphold asset protection practices.
