Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Guilford, CT is seeking a part-time Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution. You will manage truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing and promotional execution to sustain a customer-ready store environment.

Responsibilities include leading in-store SOP adherence, floor leadership during MOD coverage, and ensuring accurate stock movement and in-stock levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and early mornings.
• Ability to lift, push and pull merchandise up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and enforcing SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure SOPs, policies, standards and service expectations are met.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, inventory routines, and merchandising flow to sales floor.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
