Job summary

Mondelēz is seeking a merchandiser in Newport, KY to fulfill retail needs and maintain Nabisco displays. You will visit stores, stock shelves, and capture display photos while representing the brand in a professional manner.

The role requires driving to multiple locations, early start times, and weekend availability to support seasonal promotions and product launches.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' merchandising needs through communication and relationship building.
• Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays.
• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees.
• Work closely with the sales representative to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’s DSD Merchandising Steps.
• Capture pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Ensure Nabisco brands are represented, stocked, and maintained according to company guidelines.
• Ensure negotiated plans with store managers are followed and communicate issues to management.
• Follow the merchandising manager's daily schedule.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Represent Mondelēz in stores with a positive and upbeat attitude.

Job description

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to drive a personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
• Ability to occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
• Live within 25 miles range from the primary location Newport, KY
• Schedule availability: open availability and at least 1 weekend day
• Start time: 06:00 AM
