Job summary

Mondelēz in Shelbyville, IN seeks a part-time merchandiser to build relationships with store staff, stock Nabisco products, and execute promotional displays. You will visit stores to ensure visibility and adherence to company guidelines, capture display photos, and follow the merchandising steps as directed by the district manager.

The role requires early start times, weekend availability, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs; prior retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which you reside.
• Positive and professional attitude; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
• Occasionally push and pull over 50 lbs.
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25 miles range from the primary location Shelbyville, IN
• Open availability / at least 1 weekend day
• Start time: 06:00 AM
• Ability to work 20 hrs/wk

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers’ merchandising needs through communication and relationship building.
• Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays.
• Represent Mondelēz in front of in-store employees.
• Work closely with the sales representative to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays.
• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps.
• Capture pictures of displays at assigned stores.
• Ensure Nabisco brands are represented, stocked, and maintained according to company guidelines.
• Ensure negotiated plans with store managers are followed.
• Communicate issues with Mondelēz’ management team.
• Follow the daily schedule set by the merchandising manager.
• Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and new product launches.
• Represent Mondelēz with a positive and upbeat attitude in stores.
