Job summary

YMCA of Western North Carolina is seeking a friendly Membership Representative to warmly greet members and drive membership sales. You will guide tours, register participants for programs, and promote YMCA services while delivering exceptional service in a diverse community setting.

The role requires a minimum age of 16, a GED/HS diploma (preferred), and basic computer skills. Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred, with CPR/First Aid readiness for emergencies, and active participation in staff

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Bilingual English-Spanish preferred.
• Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn within 90 days (MS Word, MS Excel, Daxko helpful).
• CPR and First Aid skills (BLS) required or available to assist in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all members and prospective members as they enter facilities.
• Communicates YMCA value and benefits to members and the community.
• Uses Daxko Operations to sell and update memberships and register participants for programs.
• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants.
• Guides tours highlighting community work and YMCA membership value.
• Maintains a safe environment by enforcing policies and safety protocols.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings; performs other duties as assigned.
