Job summary

YMCA of the Triangle is seeking a Part-Time Member Engagement Specialist to create a welcoming atmosphere, drive sales, and connect members to programs. You will support staff, supervise the facility, and promote a high level of customer service.

The role requires 1–2 years in customer service or sales, strong computer skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Training includes CPR/First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and 1–2 years in customer service or sales.
• Professional, welcoming, and customer-focused demeanor.
• Strong computer skills and CRM familiarity.
• Able to multitask and work independently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with members and serves as concierge.
• Handles tours, sales, and membership initiatives.
• Supports Welcome Center and desk staff to ensure quality service.
• Assists in hiring, coaching, and motivating desk staff.
• Maintains clear communication and participates in shift openings/closes.
