Job summary

YMCA of Northwest North Carolina in Winston-Salem is seeking a Member Experience Representative to drive member engagement and retention through authentic relationships and frontline service. You will manage guest tours, register participants, and handle membership administration using DAXKO, while collaborating with Wellness on onboarding and serving as an emergency control point.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have an Associate degree or equivalent, strong customer service and communication skills,

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Computer skills and ability to learn applicable software.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and willingness to help others.
• CPR/First Aid/AED/Oxygen certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• YMCA trainings and certifications as applicable.
• Evenings and weekends availability.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members, potential members and staff professionally.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and explain benefits and offerings.
• Register members for services and programs; issue guest passes and IDs.
• Respond to phone inquiries and maintain front desk service.
• Act as emergency control point during incidents and know procedures.
• Support branch reporting via DAXKO as needed.
• Assist with Annual Giving Campaign activities as directed.
• Share information about programs and volunteer opportunities.
• Promote YMCA values in daily interactions.
