Job summary

The People's Federal Credit Union is seeking a part-time Member Services Specialist to assist members and potential members via telephone, email, and chat. You will explain products and services, resolve issues within your authority, and route more complex inquiries to the right department.

The role requires rotating Saturday mornings and travel to our Canyon Branch for that shift; hours are 10:00–14:00, Monday through Friday. Prior customer service experience in a financial setting is a plus.

Qualifications

• Assist members with telephone and email/chat requests, explain products and services, and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Resolve problems within your authority and refer those beyond your authority with recommendations.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and maintain member account information in the computer system.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with telephone and email/chat requests; answer questions about products and services and conduct member account transactions.
• Sort incoming mail and ensure delivery to the appropriate department, including handling outgoing mail and postage.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and cross-sell services to members.
• Maintain member account information on the computer system.
