Job summary

Redwood Credit Union in California is seeking a Part Time Member Service Associate (24-25 hours per week) to perform routine teller tasks, deliver outstanding member service, and support branch goals by selling and referring Credit Union products.

The ideal candidate will balance cash, handle transactions accurately, and collaborate with teammates while working a rotating schedule including Saturdays. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience in retail sales and cash handling.
• Ability to count and balance cash accurately.
• Strong cross-selling skills to meet member needs.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service to Members, volunteers, internal employees, and service providers.
• Explain products and services to Members to meet their needs; cross-sell RCU, RCU Investment Services, RCU Insurance Services and RCU Auto Services products and services.
• Balance cash and checks; complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to team initiatives.
• Perform branch opening and closing duties.
• Process orders for Credit Union forms and supplies.
• Participate in Credit Union committees.
