Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Part Time Member Relationship Specialist to assist members with new accounts, loan transactions and documentation while delivering outstanding service and cross-selling credit union products.

You will perform teller transactions, drive referrals, handle questions, and participate in branch operations, with a rotating Saturday schedule and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of financial institution products and services.
• Strong PC/internet skills and office equipment familiarity.
• Cash balancing and accuracy in transactions.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Ability to build relationships and work in a team.
• Accurate error detection and correction.
• Ability to cross-sell using needs-based approach.
• Willingness to work in a rotating schedule including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to Members, volunteers, employees and service providers.
• Cross-sell RCUs products and services to meet Member needs.
• Open accounts and match needs to products and services.
• Determine loan products to meet Member needs and complete loan applications.
• Complete loan funding and suggest additional products.
• Address Member questions and resolve issues with accurate information.
• Safeguard confidential member information per policy.
• Perform file maintenance and accurate teller transactions.
• Participate in audits, branch meetings, and opening/closing duties.
