Job summary

Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Member Service Associate in California. You will perform routine teller duties, deliver exceptional member service, and cross-sell Credit Union products to meet member needs.

The role involves balancing cash, handling transactions, and participating in branch opening/closing duties. A rotating Saturday schedule and team collaboration are essential, with a strong focus on confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months' experience in retail sales and cash handling.
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including Saturdays.
• Ability to learn new products, procedures, technology.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships in a diverse team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and financial products.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service and cross-sell Credit Union products.
• Explain products to Members to meet their needs and cross-sell services.
• Balance cash, balance checks and maintain proper documentation.
• Complete Members' transactions accurately following policies and procedures.
• Attend departmental meetings and participate in committees.
• Perform branch opening/closing duties and other assigned tasks.
