Job summary

You will engage with members to understand needs, encourage deposits and loans, and deliver exceptional service while upholding the credit union’s mission. This role requires a People-first mindset and strong communication skills, with Saturday work and full-time training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in a sale or member service role and cash handling experience.
• Proficiency in accurately processing transactions and requests.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Outgoing personality with a strong desire to assist members.
• Must truly enjoy directly working and building relationships with people across a wide variety of dispositions and personalities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate strong relationships with members to understand their financial needs and promote credit union products.
• Deliver exceptional member experience with personalized and attentive service.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our membership base.
• Drive deposit growth through relationship building with existing and potential members.
• Prevent fraud and minimize losses while ensuring operational efficiency.
• Balance responsibilities between teller line and platform services based on member demand.
• Proactively reach out to members to enhance relationships and address financial needs.
• Assist with branch opening/closing procedures and resolving teller outages.
• Process deposits, transfers, withdrawals, credit card cash advances, loan payments, and more.
• Collaborate with team to achieve shared goals and enhance member experience.
• Maintain knowledge of Addition Financial products and industry trends.
