Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union is seeking a part-time Teller at our Kalamazoo, MI location. The Teller will provide friendly, accurate service, process transactions, and promote LMCU products to help members meet their financial goals.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college coursework or banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience leading to member retention through proactive engagement, building trusting relationships with members.
• Accurately perform basic and advanced teller transactions in accordance with policies and procedures, balance cash drawer daily, and monitor for fraud risk.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of LMCU products and services to convey benefits and refer members to appropriate solutions.
• Continuously improve knowledge of branch systems and technology to provide accurate and efficient service.
