Job summary

Lake Michigan Credit Union seeks a part-time Teller to deliver a warm member experience and accurate, high-volume transaction processing in a fully on-site branch in Michigan. The role emphasizes service excellence, cross-selling of products, and safeguarding member data.

The Teller will balance cash drawers, handle deposits and transfers, and resolve issues with courtesy while promoting LMCU services to support members' financial goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of similar or related experience.
• Previous cash handling experience and knowledge of financial products and services preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent (required); some college coursework or banking experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive member experience with proactive engagement and building trusting relationships.
• Accurately perform teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, check cashing, check ordering, wires).
• Balance cash drawer daily and maintain accuracy in transactions.
• Promote and refer LMCU products and services to meet members' financial goals.
