Job summary

SynergenX Walnut Hill is seeking a friendly, dependable Medical Assistant for a part-time, onsite role. You’ll welcome patients, take vitals, perform venipuncture, give injections, assist providers with minor procedures, and help keep the clinic running smoothly. No MA certification?

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED - proof required.
• At least 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR 180 documented externship hours.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred, but not required.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience with minor procedures is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of EMR systems, HIPAA, and clinical safety practices.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, positive experience
• Taking manual patient vitals
• Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture
• Administering IM and subcutaneous injections as directed
• Assisting providers with minor procedures
• Preparing and processing laboratory testing
• Maintaining accurate documentation and quality-control records
• Keeping clinical areas clean, organized, and properly sterilized
• Assisting with inventory and clinic organization
• Supporting front desk duties when needed
• Working with teammates to keep patient flow running smoothly
