Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant in Johnson City, TN. You will support patient care, assist providers, and help keep daily operations running smoothly at onsite clinics.

No MA certification is required; two weeks of paid training will help you learn clinic processes, with travel to multiple clinics as needed. Compensation is $19 hourly, and scrubs are provided.

Qualifications

• Physical copy of a high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 documented externship hours.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred but not required.
• Venipuncture and injection experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
• Successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.
