Job summary

SynergenX Health Walnut Hill is seeking a friendly Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our onsite team. You will greet patients, take vitals, perform routine blood draws, injections, and assist providers with minor procedures, ensuring a smooth patient flow.

No MA certification? We provide two weeks of paid, hands-on training to help you learn our processes and feel confident in the role. If you love helping people and can work some evenings and Saturdays, apply today.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED — proof required.
• 3 months of medical experience with phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR 180 externship hours.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience with minor procedures is a plus.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, HIPAA, and clinical safety practices.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients and creating a friendly, positive experience.
• Taking manual patient vitals.
• Performing routine blood draws and venipuncture.
• Administering IM and subcutaneous injections as directed.
• Assisting providers with minor procedures.
• Preparing and processing laboratory testing.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and quality-control records.
• Keeping clinical areas clean, organized, and sterilized.
• Assisting with inventory and clinic organization.
• Supporting front desk duties when needed.
• Working with teammates to keep patient flow running smoothly.
