Job summary

CommuniCare+OLE is seeking a Medical Assistant I for the South Napa Campus on a part-time basis, offering a salary range of $25.58 to $31.26 per hour, depending on experience. The role includes patient intake, rooming, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

The incumbent will support in data entry, patient education, and adherence to clinical protocols, with benefits prorated for part-time status.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of CA Medical Assistant program; MA certification strongly preferred.
• Phlebotomy certificate strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients for program eligibility and assist with applications.
• Educate patients and family about health coverage programs.
• Enter patient data into the electronic health record system.
• Greet patients and support clinic flow; ensure patient comfort.
• Perform routine MA duties such as vitals, specimen collection, and injections when applicable.
• Coordinate with providers and nursing staff for efficient care delivery.
