Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Franklin is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to join our team. You will handle vitals, EKG, phlebotomy, injections, and front-office duties to ensure patients are provider-ready and warmly welcomed.

The role emphasizes clinical and administrative tasks, including EMR documentation, insurance work, and supporting clinic growth initiatives. Prior MA certification and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Front office experience including insurance and VOB knowledge.
• Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Take patient vitals, perform EKG, and phlebotomy.
• Assist with IM injections and lab orders.
• Document progress notes in EMR.
• Support Growth Manager with front-office tasks.
• Participate in clinic marketing efforts.
