Job summary

Medi-Weightloss of Warwick is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant with front office and clinical duties to join our caring team. You will manage patient vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, and front desk tasks, including insurance coordination and EMR documentation.

Ideal candidates will have Medical Assistant certification, strong communication skills, and experience in a fast-paced weight-loss clinic environment. This role supports clinic marketing and profitability efforts.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant certification.
• Front office experience including insurance and VOB knowledge.
• Clinical experience in EKG and phlebotomy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exercise background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route calls using a multi-line phone system.
• Follow-up on patient progress and concerns.
• Assist with daily office operations and inventory.
• Train staff on procedures as directed.
• Assist with patient vitals, EKG, phlebotomy and injections.
• Document progress notes in EMR and manage referrals.
