Job summary

St. Vincent de Paul is seeking a Part Time Meal & Day Service Coordinator at SVDP Eastside Shelter in Rosedale, MD. You will manage shelter meal programs, ensure food safety, CACFP compliance, and oversee kitchen operations.

Responsibilities include coordinating donated food, maintaining supplies within budget, training staff and volunteers, and collaborating with shelter directors. Some travel to two sites is required, with a flexible schedule including mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Direct experience in food delivery.
• Serve Safe Certification prior to start.
• Ability to relate respectfully with diverse individuals.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and travel between two sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage shelter meal programs with safety, meal service, and sanitation per health code.
• Oversee overall kitchen management.
• Ensure CACFP compliance and daily meal data submission.
• Coordinate donated food and maintain supplies within budget.
• Supervise staff and volunteers handling meal service tasks.
• Train staff on ServSafe and CACFP requirements.
