Job summary

The role focuses on coordinating and auditing MDS processes, developing care plans in collaboration with the MDS, and ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality documentation.

Required qualifications include an active RN license and CPR certification, with MDS experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of MDS process and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with nursing home MDS workflows and care planning.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with federal and state regulations affecting MDS.
• Assist with development of comprehensive care plans in coordination with the MDS.
• Coordinate and monitor the written plan of care for each resident.
• Assist nursing management with chart reviews to ensure plan adherence.
• Monitor resident status changes and involve nursing/clinical teams as needed.
• Ensure MDS and related documentation accurately reflect resident status.
