Job summary

Fletcher Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Fletcher, NC is a Long Term Care facility seeking an MDS Coordinator full time to join a growing team of caregivers.

Responsibilities include staying current with regulations, coordinating care plans with the MDS, auditing documentation, and supporting discharge processes. Required: RN license and CPR; preferred one year in long‑term care.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license in NC required.
• Experience with MDS processes and documentation preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Stay updated on federal and state regulations and professional standards.
• Coordinate and monitor the written plan of care for each resident with the MDS.
• Audit documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Assist with discharge processes and nursing management coordination.
• Respond to call lights and maintain resident confidentiality.
