Qualifications

• Any bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related experience.
• Any associate degree and six years of directly related experience.
• A valid California Community College credential.
• The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency).
• Evidence of responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equity-minded practice.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the teaching position.
• Teaching machine shop, welding, and maintenance mechanic classes across levels.
• Using diverse instructional delivery systems including hybrid formats.
• Communicating effectively with students and maintaining course syllabi.
• Evaluating student progress and submitting required reports on time.
