Job summary

Reedley College is seeking a Mechanized Agriculture Instructor for its Part-Time Faculty Pool to deliver courses in mechanized agriculture across multiple instructional settings, including evenings and online formats. Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications: diversity equity responsiveness required; equity-minded practice in classroom.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related experience; OR Associate degree and six years; OR valid California Community College Credential; OR equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in Mechanized Agriculture in various settings and times, including evenings/weekends, online or off-campus.
• Teach heavy duty truck classes (brake systems, steering/suspension) and equipment technician classes (engines, transmission, electrical, hydraulics).
• Use diverse teaching methods and technology for face-to-face, online or hybrid formats; evaluate student progress and maintain records.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher and two years of directly related experience

Associate degree and six years of directly related experience

A valid California Community College Credential

The equivalent education and/or experience
