Wellstar Cobb Breast and X-Ray Center is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a part-time role. You’ll provide safe, high-quality imaging and support patients with clear information in a collaborative care setting.

The position emphasizes patient comfort, technical accuracy, and teamwork within Wellstar’s integrated health system in Georgia. A strong commitment to quality and safety is required.

Competenze

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Experience: 1 year radiologic technologist experience; 1 year mammography experience in a hospital.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-M (Mammography), BLS.

Mansioni

• Perform mammography exams per physician order and protocol with two patient identifiers.
• Explain the exam and gather patient history to reduce anxiety (AIDET).
• Protect privacy, dignity and comfort; assist with transfers as needed.
• Review images for quality and completeness; maintain first-time acceptance rate.
• Operate equipment safely, optimize dose, and follow infection control guidelines.
• Complete QC tests and document results in PACS/RIS.
• Label, orient and document images; ensure daily charge capture.
