Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to assist the Maintenance Manager with general operating maintenance and repairs across our community. You will help keep the facilities safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and families.

Your duties include responding to maintenance requests, performing electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural work, and handling exterior tasks such as irrigation and roofing where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Work outside on exterior tasks including irrigation, tree and vegetation maintenance, pool maintenance, hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
