Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in keeping our community and physical plant safe, clean, and comfortable. This role handles electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general repairs, plus exterior tasks.

The position requires interacting with residents and families, strong time management, and adherence to safety practices. Full-time schedule with weekend/holiday flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with good time management and organization.
• Ability to communicate with residents and their families.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Follow directions to perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Perform exterior tasks including irrigation, vegetation management, pool maintenance, hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
