Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in keeping the community safe, clean, and functional. This full-time role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general upkeep across the property.

You will respond to resident requests, perform exterior tasks, and work with contractors as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; on-site work and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year certificate from college or technical school, or six months related experience.
• Ability to work with residents and outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Capable of following direction to make electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Work outside on exterior tasks including irrigation, tree and vegetation requirements, pool maintenance, hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
