Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance manager in keeping our community safe, clean, and comfortable. The role involves hands-on repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, plus exterior tasks.

In this full-time position, you will respond to resident requests, follow directions, and work with outside contractors as needed. A strong safety mindset and multi-tasking ability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident and family requests for maintenance assistance.
• Must be capable of following direction to make electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and structural repairs.
• Working outside on exterior tasks including irrigation, tree and vegetation requirements, pool maintenance (if applicable), hardscape surfaces, and roofing.
