Job summary

Sun Communities, Inc. is seeking a part-time Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance across our communities.

You will handle home/building repairs, grounds upkeep, and provide excellent resident service while maintaining curb appeal. Responsibilities include daily cleanup, basic repairs, irrigation checks, snow removal, lawn care, utility system maintenance, and reporting issues to the manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months maintenance experience preferred.
• 6 months snow removal experience preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on homes and facilities.
• Maintain community grounds, streets, and common areas.
• Assist with snow removal and landscaping as needed.
• Test water systems and meters where applicable.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager and complete required checklists.
