Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Seattle is seeking a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to care for indoor and outdoor community spaces, performing repairs and routine upkeep per work orders. You’ll respond to maintenance requests in a resident-centered environment.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, ability to read work orders, and adherence to safety rules, with the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Part-time hours offer competitive pay and benefits where applicable.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or over, or have the proper work permit and work authorization documentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent in requirements.
• Background clearances as required by government regulations.
• Health screening and negative TB test results within the last 6 months.
• Valid driver's license and valid insurance.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions; operate tools safely.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and property per work orders and supervisor directions.
• Address daily work orders: replacing light bulbs, resident furniture repairs, AC/heater filters, general maintenance.
• Troubleshoot electrical/plumbing issues and perform interior/exterior painting and landscaping.
• Maintain safety, proper handling of chemicals, PPE adherence, and clean storage areas.
• Assist in other maintenance duties as assigned by leadership.
