Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Part Time Maintenance Assistant to care for the interior and exterior of our community. You will follow directives from the Director of Environmental Services and perform tasks to maintain safety, cleanliness, and functionality across common areas, apartments, and facilities.

The role involves painting, light repairs, plumbing/electrical troubleshooting, and basic grounds upkeep, with a focus on resident comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
• Prior maintenance experience is a plus, on-the-job training available.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and repair facilities and equipment per work orders.
• Address daily tasks such as replacing light bulbs, furniture repairs, and general maintenance.
• Keep work areas safe and organized; post proper safety signs.
• Paint interior/exterior and perform landscaping as needed to keep grounds attractive.
• Maintain pools/spas and related equipment; ensure compliance with regulations.
