Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to care for the interior and exterior of our community, performing repairs, painting, and landscaping under the guidance of the Director of Environmental Services. This full-time role supports residents and operates in a safety-conscious environment.

The position requires handling cleaning, electrical and plumbing tasks, using appropriate PPE, and maintaining equipment and storage areas. Excellent English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent for applicants 18+.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and property per work orders.
• Follow safety protocols and keep areas free of hazards.
• Address daily work orders including light bulb replacement and resident repairs.
• Plan and perform interior/exterior painting and landscaping duties.
