Job summary

Healogics is the nation’s leading provider of advanced wound care, serving patients across more than 600 sites. Under the direction of an RN or provider, the WCC LPN provides wound-related nursing care per hospital policies and safety protocols.

This role requires a current LPN/LVN license, 2+ years of LPN/LVN experience (SNF/LTACH preferred), and BLS competency. The position emphasizes patient care, teamwork, and adherence to CMS guidelines in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program/state approved educational program.
• Current LPN or LVN license in the practicing state.
• Two+ years' experience as LPN/LVN, including SNF/LTACH setting.
• Wound care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under RN/Provider, provide wound-related patient care per BLS and hospital protocols.
• Assist in vein clinic after Vein Clinic training.
• May assist with intake and discharge.
• May support case management under RN guidance.
• Gather patient information and equipment for care.
• Report care quality issues to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Communicate with team about interventions for quality care.
• Perform hyperbaric therapy duties after training.
• Potentially serve as Documentation Assistant.
• Perform other duties as delegated.
