Job summary
The Virginia Department of Corrections is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse at Sussex State Prison to provide evidence-based nursing care under RN supervision. Flexible shifts offer up to ~29 hours weekly with an enhanced hourly rate during critical staffing needs.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Virginia LPN license and BLS certification required.
- Ability to provide nursing care under supervision and maintain records.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care under RN direction.
- Screen for sick calls, administer medications, and provide first aid.
- Maintain medical records and support treatment plans.
- Work hours and locations as assigned; participate in accurate documentation.
