Job summary

Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is seeking a Part-time Lobby Ambassador to warmly welcome guests and guide them with information about amenities, local attractions, and directions throughout their stay.

You will collaborate with multiple hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience, tailor recommendations, and assist with guest requests in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally lift up to 25 pounds, indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and during their stay.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, dining and local attractions.
• Assist guests with directions to rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, and facilities.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
• Answer questions and resolve minor concerns professionally.
• Collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering and F&B teams to ensure seamless service.
• Monitor lobby areas to maintain a welcoming, clean environment.
• Recognize VIPs and loyalty members to deliver personalized service.
• Provide recommendations for local dining, transport, shopping, and entertainment.
• Support hotel initiatives to improve guest service scores and loyalty.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Assist guests with directions to guest rooms, meeting spaces, restaurants, recreational facilities, and nearby destinations.
• Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance.
• Answer guest questions and resolve minor concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless guest service.
• Monitor lobby areas to maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized environment.
• Recognize VIPs, loyalty program members, and special occasions to deliver personalized service.
• Provide recommendations for local restaurants, transportation options, shopping, and entertainment.
• Support hotel initiatives aimed at increasing guest service scores and loyalty.
• Collaborating with Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Engineering and Food & Beverage to handle guest requests efficiently, ensuring follow-through and timely resolution.
• Lobby Ambassador reports directly to the Guest Experience Manager.

Qualifications
