Job summary

Washtenaw Community College seeks a PT Faculty Online Support specialist to assist faculty and students with LMS and instructional tools. You will work with the Center for Interactive Teaching & Learning to resolve issues and improve course delivery.

Role requires 20-25 hours weekly, strong LMS knowledge, and excellent communication. On-site presence at the Ann Arbor campus is expected with some flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher and two years’ experience with an LMS or educational tech.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and help desk/customer service experience.
• Strong communication, active listening, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools and accessibility best practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled and drop-in LMS support for faculty and students.
• Resolve Tier II LMS tickets with timely, compliant solutions.
• Collaborate with CITL team to implement solutions and cover tasks.
• Communicate updates to the Director, Online Technologies about trends and training needs.
• Support accessibility reviews for ADA/UDL/WCAG and LMS site maintenance.
