Job summary

Ed Oliver Golf Club in Wilmington, Delaware, part of Troon, is seeking a part-time Line Cook to support fast-paced kitchen operations across all food outlets. You will assist in food preparation, follow recipes, maintain sanitation, and help with inventory under the guidance of the Chef or Kitchen Manager.

The role requires 1–2 years of cooking experience, strong teamwork, dependability, and commitment to safety and quality standards. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• One to two years of cooking experience.
• Experience managing and upholding safe working conditions.
• Understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
• Must be dependable.
• Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to take direction.

Responsibilities

• Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
• Assists the Chef or Kitchen Manager with setup and preparation of food items for all food outlets on the property.
• Carefully follows standard recipes while preparing all assigned items.
• Assists the Chef or Kitchen Manager with conducting a monthly food and supplies inventory.
• Understands how to properly use and maintain the equipment.
• Performs necessary cleanup and sanitation maintenance activities for all food preparation and storage facilities as directed by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
• Helps distribute food and supplies throughout the food outlets.
• Cleans food production, holding, and serving equipment when needed.
• Assists with product receiving and storage.
• Ensures full compliance with Department of Health regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
